Hey everyone , just two things I wanna say:
1) So I'd like to get a Shadowrun game going with anyone who's willing to give it a shot. It'll be a small game, between 3-5 players, and we'll decide how to play (forum, Skype, Roll20) by vote.
For those who are wondering, "WTF is this Shadowrun, never heard of it," basically, it's if D&D had sex with any Cyber-Punk story. So it has Elves, Dwarves, and trolls but now with cybernetic enhancements, killer robots, sleazy, sordid night lounges, and high powered assault weaponry. You'd start your character off at level 1, and I'm allowing everything contained in the book. I'm also not a strict "By the book" GM either, if you want something that isn't mentioned, just give me a tell and we'll work out a balanced solution that won't be too OP or also won't leave you dead after every corner. I can also help make your characters, or I just roll some premades, and we just play. Whatever works.
2) I'm also down for DM'ing any 3.5 Ed. game. I have a couple already made but I can also just write some new ones depending on you (the players) wants/needs.
Let me know what you guys think, and lets see if we can make this happen!

Alright, I'll write up a 3.5 game, and it's fine you're a newb Silent, everyone starts off as one! 2 more players would be nice, and then we should be good to go.
Do you guys have any ideas about what type of characters you'd like to play?

Umm well in 3.5 I played as a reckless and hella tanky Dwarf Fighter, and in Pathfinder I was a charismatic and seductive oracle, So I guess a cleric? or maybe a wizard? With A lawful-Neutral or LAwful-Evil orientation. Probably Human.

I'm up for a try at the game; I did a tutorial dungeon run with a group on Roll20 once before, but that's about it. I was a mage, but I'm willing to try a rogue type class as well, preferably human. I might be able to run through a character creation website if that's easier for you.

Ok, I'll jot you both down with your choices, and I'll post post background details of the game later on this evening and some details regarding your characters (Nothing drastic, just starting lvl/gold)

Ok guys, I'd like to run this game with new characters starting a level 2 and you can spend a total amount of 800 gp for everything your characters own. Now we just need one more player, and we should be good!

So just some backstory to the game:
The port town of Twin Rivers is a quiet, industrial place. Located between the two great rivers of the region, the Green, and Oak, and on the shoreline of the inland sea Ilumia, it is the social and economic hub of the region. One pleasantly warm fall day whilst everyone was going about their lives, a travelling caravan appeared on the horizon. Men and women riding on horseback and driving teams of oxen hauling a score of wagons. As they came closer, the populace could see that it was a travelling Carnival: Master Rodrigo’s Travelling Circus of Wonder and Amazement painted on the side of the largest wagon, in big stylized letters. Word quickly spread around town, and the Mayor met with this Master Rodrigo. In a meeting, he exclaimed that all he wished was for to perform for the wonderful people of this fine town! Seeing that no harm could be done with allowing a circus to perform, the Mayor allowed them to set up in a field right outside of town, just a short walk away from the main gate. So the carnival set up, and in a week, they were ready. The Travelling Circus opened it gates, and the people flooded it. The lights, the colours, the performers, the food, all entranced the public, and the circus often stayed open all night long. But soon, all was not right in the town of Twin River. People started disappearing. At first, it wasn’t anything unusual, just the usual amount of missing person’s reports to the sheriff, but soon enough people, husbands and wives and loved ones, came to the sheriff’s office, and he suspected something was up. One day, he approached the mayor with a thick stack of paper, all with details about the missing persons, and he could only suspect the carnival. But his hands were tied. The legal routes would take too long, but people wanted answers. So together the Mayor and Sheriff did a look see about who could go into the carnival, but search for the missing persons. You are one of those people, tasked with finding these people.
