The Kitty's Food Bowl, a tavern located next to the discount brothel known as Cathouse Tragedy. The City, for the most part, is mostly human. Most inhabitants are either human, or half human, other races rarely have their own families, and are mixed with human ones. The tavern itself is relatively quiet in the middle of the day, with the only occupants being a few drunks, a minstrel(Not a bard) and the bartender. And of course the mercenaries hired by the alchemist to find his shipment, awaiting one more coworker before they set off.

Valarius comes down from his room, drying his hair with a silken cloth after his latest attempt to wash the brothel from his skin. In place of his usual armour, he's merely wearing a fine set of well-made, colourful clothing that wouldn't look out of place in the home of a lord.
"Guys, whatever you do, don't go to Cathouse Tragedy. Crazy bunch of amputees and necrophiliacs... If you do, though, ask for Viola. Orcy girl had moves I've never even heard of before, which is saying something."
Before taking his seat with the others, Valarius orders a refill of the tavern's finest mead for his flasks and the strongest drink the bartender can find.

Jack pushed open the front door of the tavern and stepping inside. His muscled 7-foot tall frame casting a large shadow across the room. After a quick glance about the room his blue eyes settled on a group of adventurers sitting together at a table. He assumed these were the other ones hired for this job and made his way over to them. His scale mail clinked as his heavy steps thumped on the wood floor and his assortments of weapons jingled and clanked as they bounced lightly off his armor here and there. Stopping in front of the table, he introduced himself.
"Greetings. My name Jack," his voice was rough and deep, clearly taking after his orcish parent. "I am new member of group, here to help. Ichabod hired me and said you were here. I look forward to murdering things with you." He nodded his head to each of them as he spoke, and gave a wide and friendly smile.

"Ah, an orc!" Valarius says delightedly, standing up to shake Jack's hand. "I knew an orc once; very picky about his elves. Let me buy you a drink, friend, and let's get to know one another! I'm Valarius, by the way; this is Naeris and Cantillia." He indicates each person as he gives their name.
Valarius gestures to the barman as he asks "What'll you have, Jack?"

Jack smiles widely at the friendly human. "Jack is half-orc." He corrects him as he shakes his hand. "And Jack no drink. It not that Jack think it bad, it just not Jack's thing. Jack doesn't think less of you for drinking though. Jack doesn't judge." He took a seat at the table among the others before addressing the barman. "Jack will have water, please."

"I'll take a flagon of mead, then, friend," Valarius tells the barman.
"So, Jack, you're a warrior, I take it? Front-and-centre kind of guy?"
