The inn is a single story stone-walled building, with several leaded glass windows. Accommodations consist of several large rooms with beds and straw mattresses. As you walk in to the building, you can see that the inn is full swing for the night, patrons drinking, shouting, singing, just about anything you'd expect someone drunk to do. There are a few minstrels here and there singing aloud, fueling the fervor. There is but one empty table left, meaning there is only one place for you to really sit.
The innkeeper is a short female elf with a rough look to her, one might assess she used to be an soldier, mercenary, adventurer. Something along those lines.
Menu Smoked Deer and Oat Bread, Tankard of Mead (8 cp) Oat Porridge, Mug of Beer (2 cp) Pickled Eel and Curd Cheese, Tankard of Cider (10 cp) Roasted Pheasant and Artichoke, Tankard of Beer (10 cp) Buckwheat Porridge, Mug of Stout (4 cp)

Ok, well I guess we should introduce our characters first...
I am playing Valarius, a human male, 5' 11" with black hair and blue eyes, and a short, well-trimmed beard. I have the look of a man who has been roughing it for a good length of time, doing various pieces of manual work here and there to get by. I'm wearing plain Scale Mail armour and have a Longsword and a small Steel Shield.
First thing I'mma do, DM Bear, before I even talk to anyone, is I request four portions the finest Mead the innkeeper has to refill my flasks. After that, I'll take a Tankard of Beer and a seat at a random table (with the party if we came here together).
EDIT: Apologies, just checked and I have THREE flasks so three portions of the finest Mead.

My character is named Cantillia Ivery, Elf female, about 4'10" with the typical black hair and green eyes that ever so often characterize the Elven people. Judging from her leather armor, smug smile and light, almost silent walk, it should appear clear she is not the type to stick around for a fight. Carrying two shortswords at her sides and the light crossbow on her back, she doesn't seem to be unable to defend herself either.
Having already filled her waterskin to the brim, the only thing she asks of the Innkeeper is a mug of beer, before walking to the darkest corner she can find and try to blend into the shadows, observing the inn quietly.

Has the party already formed, or is this our first meeting?

Ah, screw it, doesn't matter. Once I have the Mead and Beer, I follow Cantillia into the corner and begin making loud conversation with her.

I swear to god if we end up with one of those 12th dimensional inns where every nigga gets his own corner...
Anyways, The bartender brings you your drinks, her hands full considering how much Valarius ordered, and sets them on an empty table near the corner.
At this point you can start a dialogue with your characters. Also, I'm trying to set up a meeting for all of you, so unless your backgrounds say otherwise, you don't know each other.

I give Valarius a cold stare before sighing slightly, obviously annoyed by the lack of finesse he is displaying. I silently drink from my mug, still staring at Valarius. I'd ask if he doesn't have anything better to do than annoy me.

Well, I assumed I got the flasks filled at the counter, but it doesn't much matter. I pocket the flasks and begin downing the Beer pretty quickly. As for the conversation, I'm, as I said, making very conspicuous conversation with Anoroath's character.
"How goes the brooding, Madam?"

Shall we say that I opened with "How goes the brooding" and you reply with asking if I don't have anything better to do?
Also, DerpWolf, just interrupt whenever you're ready, I don't want you to feel locked out of this by our conversation.

I reply with:
"I'm sure there are plenty more useful things I could be doing, but more fun than antagonizing a deep, dark, mysterious young lady like yourself? It would be difficult, but I think we could find something..."
I'm over-exagerrating the suggestiveness of that last line to the point of sarcasm.

<Calm thy tittays, I am working on it. I'm used to the old way I used to RP. As in, I once had an opening post that was 5k words long. I'm getting everything I need out.>

Apologies, I didn't mean to rush you. Just giving you a heads-up that you can just interject when you're ready.

I drink up the beer in my mug, pushes it into Valarius' chest with a cold glare.
"I don't think you'd wanna go there, Mister... Besides, I'm only doing a bit of research. Not that you should care..."
I'd then look away from Valarius and look around the Inn to see if there wasn't something else to do, or at least somewhere no people would disturb me. The inn, being as packed as it is, should not offer the oppertunity though.
