No, Valerius is too caught up in the chaos and fervor of combat, especially considering he charged straight into the fray..

Would plan ahead as the guy charges at me, carefully making out how to take him out. Suddenly a dagger would appear in my hand, gee I wonder where it could have come from. Swiftly, the dagger would find its way to the mans' leg, effectively putting a halt to any future charges for some time. I would then proceed to perform a series of kidney and liver punches, aimed with precision and finetuned with strength, which should all sum up into the poor fellow falling to the floor, perhaps twitching a bit.

In that case, I grab a chair (whole or broken, I don't care) and use it as an improvised weapon as I charge recklessly at the group taking me on, yelling "Come on, then, you bastards!" I'm keeping it non-lethal here, it should be noted.
I continue to yell obscenities at them as I fight and probably have the crap beaten out of me, usually insulting their mothers in some way.

Any drunk thinking about fighting the cleric thinks twice and backs off, not wanting to have their face rearranged.
Valerius takes out a good amount of people... before the chair breaks. Afterwards, the oppurtunity is used and Valerius is dog piled by half of the conscious drunks, leaving him buried under a pile of fools.
And Norril, high or low?

Sorry to interrupt, but couldn't my Intimidate Skill come into play as I'm charging this group head-on?

If you guys want to make anything akin to a skill roll, jus type in high or low.
Also, Norril, You fail to make the drunks even drowsy as your music falls on deaf ears. You lute is knocked from your hands, and you are attacked by a drunk who swings for your face.

After seeing Cantilla's rather.. brutal display of skill, many drunken would be brawlers back off, for fear of themselves getting beaten severely.

thats what high or low was for? I roll a D6, and the further away the number is from being high or low, the worse you fail. I.E. say 'high' and get a 6, you critically win. say 'high' and get a 1, you critically fail.
